To the Editor:

Trains have been a topic in the news since comedian commentator John Oliver’s confusing, negative, and poor tasting comment about Danbury [having] a “charming Railway Museum.”

It has resulted several times in my reading that everyone likes trains. But I believe that while we may like trains (except the ones we go to work on) what we really love are the toy trains we grew up with.

We idolize trains because most of us can still remember we would watch in joy the little trains riding around under the Christmas tree given us when we were kids.
