The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN) has announced its fall schedule of classes.

All classes will meet in the lower level of Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street (at the flagpole).

“Watercolor Techniques,” led by Laura Wilk, will meet Tuesdays, October 2 to November 6, 10 am to 12:30 pm;

“Still Life In Oil,” led by Rick Daskam, will meet Wednesdays, September 12-October 31 (no classes September 26 or October 24), 9 am to noon; and

“Life Drawing from a Model,” led by Lisa Willvonseder-Greto, will meet Thursdays, September 20-October 11, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The cost for each class, including model fee, is $180 ($150 for SCAN members).

Registration can be done by sending a check, indicating which class is being registered for, to SCAN, PO Box 41, Newtown CT 06470. Those signing up for a class should also include their name, address, phone number, and e-mail with their check.
