A Smile That

Lit The Room

He is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine of 56 years; four daughters, including Eileen Packer and her husband, Howie, of Newtown; a sister; and two brothers. Five grandchildren also survive Mr Hentschel.

He was a wonderful and caring husband and was so proud of his four beautiful girls.

Mr Hentschel always lit up a room with his beautiful smile and blue Irish eyes. He served in the US Navy stationed in Iceland on the icebreaker, USS Edisto.

The family would like to thank Dr J. Pezzimenti, Dr. R. Jarrett, and their staff, as well as Peggy O’Shea for the wonderful care they provided Mr Hentschel during his difficult times.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St Peter Church, Danbury, August 31. Interment will be at St Peter Cemetery.
