Sunday, September 7 â The Bedford Riding Lanes Association Fall Pace will be held on Sunday, September 7, from 8 am to 12 noon, at the John Jay Homestead State Historic Site on Route 22 in Katonah, New York. Limit is 130 teams. Lunch (12 noon to 2 pm) is included. No post entries. Entries will close on September 2, or when the pace is full. Sunday, September 7 â The Fairfield County 4-H Committee will hold its Nutmeg Benefit Horse Show on Sunday, September 7, at the Agricultural Extension Center, 67 Stony Hill Road, Bethel. There will be English equitation, western, trail, hunt and advanced rookie divisions. Champions and reserve champions will be named. Year end awards will also be presented. Friday and Saturday, September 5-7 and 12-14 â The original Herrmannâs Royal Lipizzan Stallions of Austria will appear Fridays through Sundays, September 5-7 and 12-14, at the Litchfield Hills Equestrian Centre at 556 South Plains Road in Litchfield. There will be 90-minute shows at 7 pm on each Friday and 2 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets prices for the performances are can be purchased at in advance at Litchfield Hills Equestrian Centre, The Equestrian Centre in Avon and C.L. Adams in Woodbury. Tickets will be $12 in advance ($15 at the gate) for adults; $6 in advance ($8 at the gate) for children ages 6-12; and $10 in advance ($12 at the gate) for senior citizens.
