Beverly “Bev” (Robbins) Walker, 91, of Florida and Maine died peacefully September 3. She was born in Farmington, Maine, January 5, 1923, the daughter of Ethel and Gerald Robbins.

Surviving Mrs Walker are her children and their spouses, Janet and Charles Huot of Newtown, and Roger and Suzanne Walker of Longmont, Colo.; five grandchildren, Laura (Walker) Nixon, Holly Walker, Tim Walker, Mark Huot, and Rebecca Huot; and three great-grandchildren. Her husband, Carlton Walker, predeceased her in 2002. 

Mrs Walker retired from her home-based market research company before moving to Sun City Center, Fla., where she enjoyed 20 years of retirement. She learned to play golf, played bridge, and entertained many family and friends in her Florida home. She and her husband had enjoyed many summers at the family camps in Mount Vernon, Maine.

Her great cooking and love for fresh vegetables and lobsters will be remembered by many. She has loved, been loved, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Farmington, Maine, in July of 2015. There are no calling hours.
