CACLD To Host

Effective  Advocacy Program

EAST NORWALK — The Connecticut Association for Children and Adults with Learning Disabilities (CACLD) will host a series of ten workshops for parents and community-based agency professionals titled “Becoming an Effective Advocate,” starting next week.

Workshops will run on Tuesdays, October 5 to December 7, from 10:15 am until 1 pm, at the CACLD headquarters, 25 Van Zant Street (second floor). Presenters will be experts from the State Department of Education (SDE), Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center (CPAC), CACLD, and professionals in private practice. 

Registration is required. Fees are $275 ($200 for CACLD members), which includes the ten classes, refreshments, parking, and materials. Single sessions are $40 ($30 for members). Scholarships are available.
