Killer Bees Fall

The U12 softball team, the Newtown Killer Bees, suffered their first loss, 11-9 in Southbury on September 25. The Bees rallied offensively and defensively with Claire Hull and Emily Bell providing back-to-back home runs, and Tegan Doherty, Sarah Mawdsley, and Isabella Luciano stopping Southbury runners in their tracks before falling a little short.
