New Tenant Brings âImpactâ To Local Office Park
Impact Business Technology, a leading provider of computer networking and technical support services in Fairfield County, has moved its operations to 10 Turnberry Lane in Curtis Corporate Park.
Founded in 2001, Impact Business Technology (www.ImpactBT.com), provides 7/24 IT support as a Certified Microsoft Partner, Dell Gold Partner, and a partner with many other best of breed technologies including virus protection, spam protection, and firewalls. The company specializes in providing managed IT services to small- and medium-size businesses, providing proactive maintenance and unlimited tech support for a fixed monthly charge.
Impact designs, implements, and maintains all components of the clientâs IT environment, including servers, workstations, printers, scanners, firewalls, routers, switches, cabling, and software. The firm serves several hundred companies across a wide range of industries, including law, finance, manufacturing, and construction.
In Impactâs new 3,400-square-foot space, the company has room to grow and can now better support its clients with a new, more robust data center that is better equipped for network monitoring, data backup, document storage, and remote application hosting, a growing need for Impactâs clients. Impact can now also provide technical training facilities and live demonstrations of the technology options it recommends for its clients.
The new capacity will allow the company to hire more technicians with additional specialties, giving it the ability to support a wider range of technologies and customers.
âWe are pleased to bring Impact BT to a more central location. Being right at the junction of Interstate 84 and Route 34 makes it easier to get to our clients quickly should we need to get a tech onsite,â said Neil Holme, president and owner of Impact Business Technology. âWe looked at several locations in Monroe and Newtown. This location was the best combination of price, size, and location.â
Mr Holme said the move was over a year in the planning as Impact was looking for the best possible space for its continued growth.
âThroughout that time the greatest challenge was finding a space we could design specifically for our own needs and thereby better serve our clients,â he said. âWeâre very happy we found this facility when it was just built and we were able to work with the owner to have the interior completed to our specifications.â
The company has begun to implement more turnkey marketing programs to help develop new leads and referral business from existing clients. âAnd the companyâs experience with specific industries such as law and finance are helping to build Impact by approaching firms with value propositions specific to their needs,â Mr Holme added.
