To the Editor,

For nearly 15 years, Mitch Bolinsky has been a force for good in Newtown. I say this not just as a constituent, but with pride because he’s also my father.

Over the years, one of the strongest, most positive inspirations in my life has been my father. His integrity and sense of right and wrong are a beacon of light. He has always been there to guide me through any struggle or new chapter with his warm smile, understanding, intelligence, insight and unique sense of humor. No one can make me smile and laugh quite like dad!

Mitch Bolinsky is a strong leader with excellent organization and interpersonal skills. He cares deeply about people and loves the Newtown community. His commitment to us drives him to selflessly devote 100% of his time, energy, and attention to issues ranging statewide impact, to community, to helping individuals.

But he is so much more than his service to Newtown.  Beyond being our State Representative; beyond his boards and commissions; beyond being a Justice of the Peace, he is a loving father and husband who’s community service roots had humble beginnings as a Head o’ Meadow Cub Scout Leader, Cub Master and Chairman, where he nurtured Newtown children and cared about Newtown families.

Mitch Bolinsky has demonstrated his ability and devotion to Newtown countless times during his term as our State Rep. Through every piece of legislation he’s voted on, sponsored or advocated and through his personal touch in constituent service, I truly believe that Newtown could not ask for a more capable and qualified candidate than my dad, Mitch Bolinsky. Please vote for him on Tuesday November 4th.
