To the Editor:

Todd Higgins embodies the type of person we need in the role of ensuring the highest standards for the education of our children.

Education has been a passion for me and my family and we have three school age children. There is no more critical time than NOW to have people with the skill set and background of Todd in positions of leadership.

In my work with Minds Matter, a charity that provides educational tools and resources in major cities across the United States, I have seen first-hand what a profound difference the support of qualified and caring individuals in positions of influence within the educational system can make.

Our children deserve nothing less. Todd has given selflessly of himself personally and professionally for causes that benefit the greater good. He is a person who puts others above himself. We need Todd in this role and more importantly our children need him.
