To the Editor:

I want to take this opportunity to recommend Judit DeStefano for reelection to Newtown’s Legislative Council. As a member of Newtown Environmental Action Team, I have had the pleasure of working with Judit in her role representing Newtown over the past nearly three years. I have always found her to be extremely intelligent, with the unique ability to look at an issue from all angles and exercise good judgement in whatever issue is being examined. Judit is completely dedicated to the welfare of the people of Newtown and understands the issues we are facing. Most importantly, Judit listens, which is something I think is sorely lacking in many representatives these days. Everyone who knows me knows that, in my opinion, the most important issue of our time is our environment and climate change. Judit has proven to me that she cares about the future of our planet, and the impact that climate change is having on our community. I have complete faith in her as a legislator whose judgement is always sound and who puts the people and the businesses of Newtown first at all times. Please consider voting for Judit to be reelected to the Legislative Council on November 5; she will not disappoint you.
