Due to the heavy rains expected for this Sunday, October 27, the Newtown Bridle Lands Association (NBLA) Frost on the Pumpkin Hunter Pace has been rescheduled and modified to this Saturday, October 26, from 9 to 11 am with open arrival time. The Ride will start from a large field near 26 Mount Nebo Road; look for the signs.

Instead of a timed Hunter Pace, the NBLA will host a Fall Trail Ride through its beautiful hunter pace trails. Costumes welcomed and prizes awarded for the best costume. A light lunch will be served and included in the price. Participants are also welcome to bring their own tailgating essentials.

NBLA officials noted that Saturday is expected to be a beautiful, sunny, fall day with a perfect temperature for riding. The trails are in perfect condition and offer beautiful leaf-peeping opportunities, woodlands and expansive fields.

Accordingly, the entry fee has been reduced to $45. Previously registered entrants will receive partial refunds if attending the ride, or full refund if unable to attend.

Teams are no longer required and the ride will not be timed.

Visit nblact.com or Newtown Bridle Land Association's Facebook page for registration information. Same day riders will be accepted.
