Occupation: For the past five years I have been the marketing director for A Place For Mom here in Connecticut. We help seniors and their families find info and pricing on home care, assisted living, and memory care anywhere in Connecticut or the US. A Place For Mom is a free service. The second hat I wear is being the owner of LG Marketing, LLC. I help many small businesses with their social media marketing. Many business owners don’t know how to use social media to promote their business. Some know how to but don’t have the time, so these are the two types of business owners we help. For over 30 years I have thrown small to large events from grand opening to big fairs and festivals. With COVID now, many business owners don’t have the money for traditional advertising, which costs thousands. LG Marketing was created to be a much more affordable option that does not lock in small business owners to any contracts.

Family: I am married to Newtown teacher Tracy Galassi and we have three beautiful children together, Gianna, Sophia, and Enzo.

Pets: I have the perfect little puppy named Rocco.

How long have you lived in Newtown? I have lived in Newtown for the past eight years and love it here.

What do you like to do in your free time? In my free time I often go to the gym or love playing sports with the kids when I’m not driving them to their sports.

What is your favorite book? I am not a huge reader, but I did read Rich Dad/Poor Dad and found it very interesting.

What is your favorite travel destination? We love to visit Atlantis in the Bahamas as it’s everyone’s favorite place to vacation besides our yearly trips to the Jersey Shore, which is also so much fun and a family tradition.

What is the best part about Newtown? I love Newtown because it’s a small community where everyone knows each other and looks out for one another.

What organizations are you part of in Newtown? I do presentations at senior centers across Connecticut, not just here in Newtown, to educate seniors on senior care options. As a family we try to get involved and help out as much as possible.

Who has been the greatest influence in your life? I have been lucky to have some great teachers and mentors during my studies at WCSU and in my work life, but my hustle mentality comes from my father.

If you could spend the day with one person, who would you choose and why? Jesus. Because I have a ton of questions for him!

Who is your favorite musical artist? I like hip hop music from the ’90s, because the artist told stories. The late great Biggie Smalls was always my favorite artist, but I do enjoy Frank Sinatra and music from the past, as well.

What is the greatest piece of advice you have ever been given? As a true entrepreneur it’s easy to give up after any failed business, but then you learn that some of the most successful people on earth failed multiple times before they found the one big idea that made them successful.

What is something you cannot live without? There are three things I cannot live without: family, money, and pizza.

What is your proudest accomplishment? My proudest accomplishment in life is being a great dad to my children.
