Kelly Brimmer Flynn

Kelley Brimmer Flynn ascended with the Angels on October 23, 2023, from her home in Rocky Hill, Conn., with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Hartford on March 11, 1971. Kelley attended schools in the Hartford area, and her high school years at Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford, Conn., and Paul VI High School in Fairfax, Va. Kelley graduated from the University of New Haven with a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing.

Kelley’s greatest joy was being a mother to her daughter Sarah. They lived in Newtown for sixteen years and relocated to Rocky Hill. Kelley was also a devoted reader from childhood. Her family will miss her cheerfulness. She always looked forward, not backwards, each and every day.

In addition to her loving parents, Bill and Barbara Brimmer of Newtown, and her devoted daughter Sarah Flynn of Rocky Hill, she also leaves her sister and best friend, Erin Burrows and her husband Matt of Rocky Hill. She leaves a dear brother Matthew Brimmer of Danbury.

In addition, she leaves a loving group of aunts and uncles: Mary and Andy Poisson of New London, N.H.; William Curry of New Britain, Conn.; Thomas Curry of Hamden, Conn.; Bruce and Connie Brimmer of Glen Falls, N.Y.; Brian and Pam Brimmer of Preston, Conn.; Deborah Catolane of Bolton, Conn.; Barry and Pamela Brimmer of Davenport, Fla.; Bradford and Annemarie Brimmer of Windsor, Conn.; Thomas and Ellen Brimmer of Mansfield, Conn.; Margaret Rollins of Garland, Maine; Susan Gabriel of Simsbury, Conn.; Timothy and Amy Brimmer of Gansevoort, N.Y.; and Robert Brimmer of Garland, Maine.

In addition Kelley leaves a nephew, Nathaniel Burrows, and nieces Emma Burrows and Lauren Burrows, all of Rocky Hill; and niece Ellie Brimmer of Woburn, Mass. Kelley will be missed by her many cousins.

She was predeceased by her Aunt Sharon Curry Felt of Killingworth, Conn., and her cousin John Poisson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 27, at 11 am, in St Josephine Bakhita Church, Saint Elizabeth Seton Campus, 280 Brook Street in Rocky Hill. A burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, 580 Elm St in Rocky Hill.

Family and friends are invited to Giuliano-Sagarino Funeral Home at Brooklawn, 511 Brook Street, Rocky Hill, on Friday, October 27, from 9:30-10:30 am.
