Ronald R. White, 85, of 60 Robin Hill Road, Newtown, Conn., passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 27. He was the loving husband of Mary Lou (Curti) White.

Ron was born in Bridgeport, Conn., a son of the late Raymond and Eva White. He attended Bassick High School in Bridgeport and was a graduate of RCA Electronics Institute. Ron was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War. After he served his country, he pursued a career in the electronics field as an engineer and purchasing agent.

Ron loved his family and cared deeply about them all. He enjoyed reading, history, coin and stamp collecting, woodworking, and spending time with his family. Ron always made people laugh with his great sense of humor. He was an avid sports enthusiast and loved his New York Giants, Rangers, and Mets. His children and wife carry that tradition and passion with them always.

In addition to his wife of 51 years, he is survived by his son, Scott White, and his wife, Lauren, of Waterbury, Conn.; his daughter, Christy White, and her fiancée, Joseph Tkacz, of Meriden, Conn.; his sister-in-law, Patricia Morgera, and her children, Adam Morgera, Jr, of Danbury, Conn., and Michele Medlin and her husband, Richard, of New Milford, Conn.; his brother-in-law, Jerry Curti II, and his wife, Diane, of Norwalk, Conn., and their children, Jerry Curti III of Norwalk, Conn., and Jennifer Curti of Madison, Conn.; and his sister, Judith Sweeney, and her children, Tony, Dawn, Judie Marie, Karen, and Ronnie.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
