Christmas Shopping In New York
Sign up now to do your Christmas shopping in New York city. Spend the day in the city shopping or just enjoying the sights. A coach bus will leave the Newtown Middle School at 8 am and return at 5 pm. Drop off and pick up will be on 34th Street, near Macyâs.
Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot
The eighth annual Turkey Shoot will be held November 20 at the Newtown Middle School. Each winning team will go home with a turkey. Cost is $10 per team, which will consist of one adult and one child. Times are 9 am (children aged five and under and 6 to 8) and 10 am (ages 9 to 12 and 13 to 17). Adult Volleyball
The Parks and Recreation Department is looking for someone who is interested in running the adult volleyball league. The league runs on Monday and Thursday evenings at Newtown High School.
Hall Monitors
