David William Randall

David William Randall, 79, of Southbury, died on October 24.

Born in Northville, and raised in Bridgewater, David was the son of Harriet and Benjamin Randall. He served in the US armed forces in the Philippines during World War II. He owned Randall’s Trucking Company in Southbury for 40 years.

Predeceased by his siblings, Charles Randall and Susan Randall Butler, he is survived by his son, Timothy Randall; daughters, Linda Randall, DVM, and Cathryn Randall; and his siblings, Janet (Randall) Farrar, Pauline Randall, and Donald Randall.

He was buried at Bridgewater Cemetery on Main Street in Bridgewater.

The celebration of his life will be held at the Mount Zion Baptist Church, Danbury, at 3 pm on November 13.
