To the Editor:

Newtown needs Lisa Romano to work for us in Hartford. She has earned the endorsement of the News-Times as she has demonstrated the skills we need in Hartford. As a realtor, she knows Newtown well and understands the impact this economy has had on all of us. We also need someone in Hartford who understands education, and Lisa is just that person.

Chris Lyddy helped many of the parents of our town with children with unique needs work with our school district and Lisa has the talent, dedication, and understanding to continue that work. Lisa will be able to work with the majority in Hartford in planning and developing practices to put Connecticut back on track and Newtown needs her voice.
