To the Editor:

Despite the weather the response to the Friends of the C.H. Booth Library’s Fall Donation Day was overwhelming. We truly do collect books, puzzles and games rain or shine! We want to thank everyone who helped out this past Sunday — our hard-working volunteers, our generous donors and the Booth Library staff for letting us set up shop in their parking lot. The items we received on Sunday will be available for purchase at our Holiday Sale on December 2 & 3, our big annual sale in July and at our Little Book Store, open year-round in the C.H. Booth Library. Proceeds from sales of donations support programs at Newtown’s wonderful C.H. Booth Library. Thank you again.
