Multiple Ribbon Cutting Events Planned For Tuesday, November 10
Newtown’s Department of Economic and Community Development, along with First Selectman Bruce Walczak, will be supporting several newly-opened businesses in the coming weeks by hauling out the big scissors for several ribbon cutting celebrations.
On Tuesday, November 10, the public is invited to celebrate two new businesses. The first ribbon cutting that day is happening at 11 am, marking the opening of Greenwich Medical Spa in Plaza South at 266 South Main Street.
Greenwich Medical Spa offers cutting-edge aesthetic treatments designed to support anti-aging, body contouring, skin rejuvenation, laser skin treatments, and overall wellness. Its experienced team helps patients by utilizing the latest non-surgical technologies and customized treatment plans.
Then, at 3:30 pm on November 10, it will be dueling scissors as officials help cut the ribbon opening 1711 Barbers & Co in Sandy Hook village center (in the lower rear level of 111 Church Hill Road). The shop features the expertise of Matt Gaudio, who learned his skills from his uncle Frank at the Village Barber Shop on Queen Street.
Under his uncle’s guidance, Gaudio learned the importance of quality service, and discovered his passion for the profession. Combining traditional barbering values with a welcoming atmosphere, 1711 Barbers & Co is dedicated to providing quality haircuts, personalized service, and the timeless experience of a neighborhood barbershop.
The public is encouraged to attend.
