Elsie L.    Richardson

Elsie L. Richardson, 96, of Southbury, formerly of Daytona, Fla., died on October 30 at the Lutheran Home of Southbury.

Mrs Richardson is survived by her daughter-in-law, Gloria R. Richardson of Newtown.

Mrs Richardson was born in Bristol, January 3, 1905, a daughter of the late Oscar and Emma (Nelson) Linden. Raised and educated in Bristol, she was employed as a legal secretary for the Wallace Barnes Company of Bristol.

In 1952, Mrs Richardson moved to Daytona, where she resided until 1996, when she returned to Connecticut to reside in Southbury.

She is also survived by three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and two nieces and two nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Howard K. Richardson, Jr.

Funeral services were private and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

The Hull Funeral Home, 60 Division Street, Danbury, was in charge of arrangements.
