Rosemary Sivertsen of Newtown entered into eternal rest on November 8, 2023.

Rosemary was born in Blakely, Pennsylvania, on May 19, 1939, to Mary and Joseph Matusko. She attended Harding High School in Bridgeport.

Rosemary worked as a real estate agent in Newtown for many years. She enjoyed going to the theater, traveling, and playing cards with her friends.

Rosemary is survived by many beloved relatives: two of her children, Cheryl Sivertsen and Theodore J. (Crystal) Sivertsen Jr; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Nuñez, Christine (Michael) Farnham, Kaitlyn Sivertsen, and Elizabeth Sivertsen; seven great-grandchildren, Sabrina Nuñez, Liliana Nuñez, Enrique Nuñez, Cristian Nuñez, Dylan Joyner, Monica Joyner, and Brandon Farnham; and her sister, Irene Kaiser.

She was predeceased by her daughter Janet Sivertsen.

Friends may call at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street in Newtown, between the hours of 5 and 7 o’clock, Thursday, November 16.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 17, at 11 am, at Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
