The first flurry of snowfall this season graced Christ the King Lutheran Church’s Annual Fall Fair on November 10.
However, a little snow could not stop people from coming out in droves for the event, which caused the church’s parking lot to quickly fill up.
Fall Fair Coordinator Elizabeth Lowery said that this year there were 50 tables set up inside and outside the church for vendors, some of whom came all the way from New York just for the event.
All proceeds collected for the fair go toward helping the church and its mission, while vendors keep the money from their sales that day.
“We’re so grateful for the community coming out and supporting the vendors and the church,” Ms Lowery said.
Between shopping, guests also enjoyed the silent auction, bake sale, and live music onsite throughout the day.

Outside Christ the King Lutheran Church during the annual Fall Fair on November 10, Hawleyville Volunteer Fire Company firefighter JamieLynn Zapata showed Bradley Hillyer, 2½, inside the fire truck. Ms Zapata and her fellow firefighters onsite met with attendees of the fair for community outreach and education on fire prevention.
