WWF Holding Inaugural Networking/Social Event

The Working Women’s Forum (WWF) will hold its first networking social Monday, December 4, at Proud Mary’s (below Newtown Inn), 19 Main Street, from 6 to 9 pm.

The cost is $25 for all (members and nonmembers) and includes appetizers and networking/social opportunities. The evening’s activities will include:

éNetworking and socializing with other women and sharing ideas and experiences.

éThe December Showcase featuring Christina Devos of Lia Sophia Jewelry.

éSpotlighting individual businesses. Attendees can display their service/product information. Bring plenty of business cards, brochures, announcements, etc.

éLogo contest. Design a logo for WWF; the winner will receive a free annual membership for the Working Women’s Forum ($90 value). See www.workingwomensforum.net for details.

éRaffles of gift baskets and special items will occur throughout the event.

éLocal food pantry sponsorship. It is requested that attendees bring a canned ham (or Big Y gift card or cash and purchases will be made) for the benefit of the Newtown Interfaith Food Pantry. Collection will take place at the door.
