Concerts by Candlelight

WASHINGTON — Saint John’s Chorale will sing “A Ceremony of Carols,” by Benjamin Britten, and other seasonal music at its annual candlelight Christmas concerts. Performances will be at 8 pm on Friday, December 10, and at 4 pm on Sunday, December 12. Both concerts will be at St John’s Church on the Green in Washington.

Under the direction of Mark R. Scholtz, the 35-member choir will also perform works by Poulenc and Howells, as well as arrangements of such favorite carols as “The Holly and The Ivy.”
