Rose L. Schettino

Rose (Ligouri) Schettino, 85, a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, died December 2 in the 3030 Park Health Center, Fairfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Fred Schettino.

She was the sister of Thomas Ligouri of Newtown.

She is also survived by her two loving daughters, Mary Ann Kotwica of Shelton and Carol Quaranta and her husband, Don, of Bridgeport; a granddaughter, Floriana Carbone, of Bridgeport; two great-grandchildren, Joseph and Ashley Carbone; two sisters, Virginia Lauro and Madeline Soules; and five other brothers, Joseph, John, George, Raymond, and Mondo Ligouri. She was predeceased by her sister, Jean Bockiaro, and three brothers, Louis Ligouri, James Ligouri, Jr, and Anthony Ligouri.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and in St Andrew Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was in St Michael Cemetery.
