Mr & Mrs Jason Kew

Mary Sharlene Annett and Jason Kew were married on June 30 at Indian Neck Beach in their hometown of Wellfleet, Mass. Anne Reynolds, the bride’s sister-in-law, performed the ceremony. A reception followed at The Holden Inn, also in Wellfleet.

Mary is the daughter of Peggy and Skip Annett of Newtown. She was given into marriage by her father.

Jason is the son of Robin Kew of Wellfleet, Mass., and Dana Kew of East Orleans, Mass.

For her wedding day, the bride wore an ivory A-line gown and carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas.

Matron of honor was Michelle Prassas of Wilmette, Ill., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sarah Berthiaume of Jamestown, R.I., and Sarabeth Morrell of Rochester, Mass. The attendants each wore a strapless navy dress with an ivory sash, and carried a bouquet of lime green hydrangeas.

The best man was Damian Parkington of Wellfleet.

Flower girl was Madeline Prassast and the ring bearer was Connor Prasses, both of Wilmette, Ill.

Mrs Kew is a 1994 graduate of Immaculate High School in Danbury. She also graduated Boston College in 1998 with a BA in English, and continues to pursue her master’s of education at Fitchburg State College. She is an English teacher at Cape Cod Regional Technical High School in Harwich, Mass.

Mr Kew is a graduate of Nauset High School, Class of 1993, and attended Cape Cod Community College. He is the chef and manager of Catch of the Day in South Wellfleet, Mass.
