DANBURY — Helping the elderly, patients recovering from surgery, and folks with disabilities prevent falls, a team of specialists from Danbury Hospital will present a Medical Town Meeting, December 11, at 7 pm, on “Simple Steps that Help Prevent Slips, Trips and Falls.”

Michael Craig, MD, Section of Orthopedic Surgery, will lead the panel, along with Melissa Ferrandino, RPT, and Jeff Espino, RPT, physical therapists from the Main Street Physical Rehabilitation Center, a division of Danbury Hospital.

The group will discuss risk factors for falls, and what prevention strategies can be taken to make homes safer and more accident-proof.

The meeting takes place in the John C. Creasy Center for Health Education auditorium at Danbury Hospital from 7 to 8:30 pm. Park free in the blue visitor’s parking lot, Hospital Avenue entrance.
