For the unusual, but special, holiday gift, The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown is offering a SCAN Small Works Art Show & Sale.

The special event will be offered one day only, on Saturday, December 13, from 10 am to 4 pm in the lower level of Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street in Newtown. Artist members of SCAN will feature small, original artwork, all under 11 by 14 inches or smaller, for purchase at very reasonable prices. Additional portfolio selections will be available.

SCAN’s next full-scale show will be “Color in Winter,” an art show and sale that will be presented at Newtown Municipal Center, January 23 to February 27. The show will also offer works only by members of SCAN.

An opening reception is planned for Wednesday, January 28, from 3 to 4:30 pm.
