BBB Accepting Scholarships Entries
The Connecticut Better Business Bureau (BBB) is currently accepting applications from high school juniors for its 2007 BBB Student Ethics Scholarship Program.
âThis scholarship is designed to reward students who personify ethics and personal integrity,â said Paulette Hotton, president and CEO of the BBB. âTodayâs students are the leaders of tomorrow, and the ethical standards and integrity being forged today will guide them as they transition into the professional world.â
Statewide leaders from business and academia will serve as judges and award the scholarships based on criteria including leadership, community service, academic achievement, and an essay response.
Award recipients will be notified in September and awards will be presented in November.
To apply for the scholarship, students should contact their principal or guidance counselor, or download an application at ctbbb.org/student. Entries must be postmarked by June 22. For more information or to inquire about sponsoring a scholarship, contact the Better Business Bureau at 203-269-2700, extension 100.
