Actions And Consequences
Actions And Consequences
To the Editor:
I read with great frustration the article âStudent Journal âThreatsâ Spark Parent Concerns.â No kidding! I wonder what zeal Ms Denniston would s how in trying to get the same level of comfort the Morrises are seeking if her child had been the target.
Maybe if we as a society treat serious cases publicly at an early age, repeat offenses would drop and the learned behavior would be one of action and consequence instead of action and coverup. There are consequences in life for everything we do but if we teach children there are no consequences for bad behavior at an early age then they are in for a rude awakening and society will pay the bill.
