Coins For The Cure

(The following open letter to Newtown Middle School Assistant Principal Anthony Salvatore has been received for publication.)

Dear Mr Salvatore and SPOKES Members:

Thank you for all the thoughts, work, and enthusiasm you gave to the Coins for the Cure campaign held in April. I deposited the coins today and the amount was $258.84. This brings our total to date of almost $2,000.

I enjoyed working with your group members. I am sure Mr Salvatore, Mrs Callahan, and Mrs Liberty are very proud of your accomplishments. It is a pleasure to see Newtown Middle School students in such a positive activity. Thanks for making it Better in Newtown.
