WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL PRINT FAIR GOES ‘SILVER’ MARCH 31–APRIL 1 w/2 cuts

ARLINGTON, VA. — The Washington International Print Fair will celebrate its silver 25th year of offering the venue for works on paper for collectors and the general public from the top dealers from North America at the Rosslyn Westpark Hotel, March 31–April 1.

Acclaimed as one of the oldest print fairs in the United States, the Washington International Prints Fair will feature up to 30 print dealers who showcase more than 10,000 contemporary and antique fine and rare prints, drawings, watercolors for sale during the two-day public show. The event is traditionally invitation only.

Expected exhibitors include: Annex Galleries, William P. Carl Fine Prints, Childs Gallery Ltd, Jeanne Davidson Fine Prints, Davidson Galleries, Herbert Egenolf Japanese Prints, Four Winds Fine Art, Roger Genser – The Prints and The Pauper, Conrad R. Graeber Fine Art, William Greenbaum Fine Prints, Kay Lopata Fine Arts, The Old Print Shop, Inc, Paramour Fine Arts, Platt Fine Art, Edward T. Pollack, Shogun Gallery, Carolyn Staley-Fine Japanese Prints, M. Lee Stone Fine Prints, Inc, Egon Teichert Fine Prints, Steven Thomas, Inc and the Art of Japan.

The Print Fair expects to offer a couple of photography dealers, as it did last year for the first time.

With prices ranging from the low hundreds upwards, this selection of works of art on paper will feature a variety of artists and time periods, including Old Master, Nineteenth and Twentieth Century American prints, European prints, Eastern European prints, French prints and drawings from 1830 to present, Dutch Sixteenth and Seventeenth Century prints, contemporary prints, historical Americana, Art Deco, contemporary and antique Japanese prints, maps, French posters, Canadian woodblock prints, American woodcuts of the Arts and Crafts movement in the United States (1900–1930), Belle Epoque art, WPA prints, dog prints, sporting art and more.

The Washington International Print Fair runs Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm at the Rosslyn Holliday Inn Westpark Hotel, 1900 North Fort Myer Drive. Limited free parking is available.

There is no admission fee but donations are welcome. The fair is sponsored by and benefits Holy Trinity School in Georgetown, a Catholic co-educational elementary school serving nursery through eighth grade students in the Washington, D.C., area since 1818. Proceeds fund educational needs, including scholarships and academic initiatives for this inner city school.
