NEW CANAAN — AmeriCares, the international disaster relief and humanitarian aid organization, this week announced a strategic partnership with AccuWeather, Inc., to stay two steps ahead of potential weather-related disasters

AccuWeather will provide AmeriCares with up-to-the-minute weather information around the world and access to its 100 meteorologists 24 hours a day. This information will enable AmeriCares to more efficiently maintain its relief readiness.

AccuWeather will also feature a link from its Web site to AmeriCares’ home page, allowing Web browsers to find out more about AmeriCares’ emergency response when hurricanes, tornadoes, mud slides, floods, and tsunamis strike.
