Anita Dymek Yanzo
Anita Dymek Yanzo, 92, a homemaker, of Derby, died June 7 in St Raphael Hospital, New Haven.
Born in Clinton, Mass., on July 5, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Pinkowski Dymek and a lifelong area resident. She was the widow of Joseph E. Yanzo, Sr.
Survivors include two children, Joseph Yanzo, Jr, of Newtown and Elaine Dwyer and her companion, Larry Maraia, of Shelton; a son-in-law, Gregory Boboc of Ansonia; six grandchildren, Michelle Spadaccino and her husband, Salvatore F., Donna Achille and her husband, Robert, Christine Bojarczyk and her husband, Richard, Edwin Dwyer, Neal Frasier, and Joseph Yanzo III; six great-grandchildren, Danielle Spadaccino, Michael Spadaccino and his wife, Brooke, Salvatore P. Spadaccino, Joseph Yanzo IV, Jessica Yanzo, and Roman Achille; one great-great-granddaughter, Madison Spadaccino, and several nieces and nephews. Zachary, Stefani, Mason, and Pierce will also miss their âGrammyâ.
Mrs Yanzo was predeceased by a daughter, Joan Boboc; two brothers, Alec and Joseph Dymek; three sisters, Viola Nestrunk, Catherine Prusasky, and Helen Szigeti; and a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Yanzo.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held June 11 in St Maryâs Church. Burial followed at St Michaelâs Cemetery, Stratford.
