Edmond Town Hall Launching New Family Series
Edmond Town Hall has announced the launch of a brand-new Family Series, which aims to be an engaging lineup of live performances designed for people of all ages.
Kicking off the initiative is Vanessa Trien and The Jumping Monkeys on Sunday, May 18, at 2 pm. Tickets are $25 and available at edmondtownhall.org.
A Parents’ Choice Award-winning kids’ band, Vanessa Trien and The Jumping Monkeys have been performing as a family favorite nearly every summer in Newtown since 2013, and will be sharing their musical fun for the first time at Edmond Town Hall.
With the band’s engaging songs and Trien’s trademark warmth and humor, everyone is invited to enjoy a concert full of singing, dancing, playing, jumping, imagination, and more.
The Vanessa Trien and the Jumping Monkeys performance later this May will be followed by a series of other acts throughout the year. This will include Taylorville — A Tribute to Taylor Swift on August 21, Mutts Gone Nuts on September 6, Buckets N Boards on October 4, and Magician Mike Super on December 19.
Audiences may recognize Buckets N Boards and Mike Super from performances aboard Disney Cruise Lines, where they have wowed families from around the world.
Ticket prices will vary by show. Edmond Town Hall Executive Director Gary Lindemann says the series is a fun and affordable way for families to enjoy quality entertainment close to home.
“This new series is part of our mission to bring accessible, family-focused programming to our community,” Lindemann said. “We’re excited to offer experiences that inspire joy, creativity, and connection for families of all ages.”
