The Newtown Democratic Town Committee will welcome Lt Governor Susan Bysiewicz to Aquila’s Nest Vineyards this month for an end-of-session celebration.

The public is invited to join members of the local Democratic committee on Monday, June 16, at 6 pm, at the vineyard, 56 Pole Bridge Road in Sandy Hook.

As the legislative session comes to an end, the lieutenant governor will discuss the successes of the legislation passed and their effects on the state. She will also be available to answer questions.

Tickets are $40 per person, which includes admission, a glass of wine, and light fare.

Live music will also be performed during the event.
