Town Players of Newtown is seeking submissions from directors for the local community theater’s 2026 season.

Directors are invited to send their name and email address; name of the proposed play, playwright and genre; a brief description of the play; number of characters, gender and ages; number of sets; and the time of year they’d like to like to stage the play, to info@newtownplayers.org.

Applicants are asked to attach a PDF of the proposed play. If directors are unable to do that, or they wish to submit a physical copy of the script, contact Brian DeToma at detomabrian@gmail.com.

Deadline is August 31.
