Ability Beyond is proud to announce an exciting lineup of talented artists for Ability Rocks, an upcoming free community concert.

Staff, supporters, families, members of the community, and everyone in between are all invited to Ability Beyond on Saturday, September 13, from 1 to 5 pm, at Dickinson Park for Ability Rocks.

Ability Rocks will again include Ability parents, Jay Willie from the Jay Willie Trio, and Steve Tracy from Tyger Dynasty. Back again this year are also two electrifying bands that will get the pavilion rocking: Split Decision, with rock, funk and disco spanning 50 years; and The Surf, playing classic rock from the 60s through today.

New to this year’s lineup are The Speakers and House Band, two bands of gifted musicians from Westchester’s Lagond Music School’s Power Through Performance (PTP). The professional musicians are volunteering their time to inspire the afternoon’s audience about music’s power to transcend boundaries beyond the stereotypes of disabilities.

Admission is free and food vendors will be on site.

Additional information and registration is available at abilitybeyond.org/abilityrocks.
