Kind Works Announces Fall Events, Launch Of Community Kindness Award
BETHEL — Kind Works Incorporated, a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring kindness, is rolling out a season full of events designed to connect the community and celebrate compassion. Leading the lineup is the launch of the Community Kindness Award on Wednesday, October 1, at Kind Works Studio in Bethel.
The award will recognize individuals who demonstrate exceptional kindness and community impact. Honorees will be celebrated in small ceremonies alongside family, and nominators and will receive unique Kindness Gifts created by volunteers. Nominations are open year-round, with four recipients planned between October 2025 and October 2026.
Kind Works Inc Executive Director Cody Foss says kindness “has the power to change lives and strengthen entire communities. By honoring those who lead with compassion, we hope to inspire more people to recognize, celebrate and share kindness in their daily lives.”

Based out of its studio at 32 Stony Hill Road (Route 6) in the Stony Hill section of Bethel, Kind Works Incorporated is a nonprofit organization founded and sustained by volunteers who believe in the transformative power of kindness.
The organization was created to continue the work that Ben’s Bells CT volunteers — including many Newtown residents — did over nearly 12 years. It was founded on the belief that fostering a culture in which kindness is not just an act, but a way of life, leaves a lasting impact on generations to come.
Kind Works offers a volunteer-operated art studio, and educational programs and workshops for community groups and corporations, and offers the talents of its volunteers in the creation of public murals.
