Sandy Hook Organization for Prosperity (SHOP) hosted Rockin’ The Hook, its annual celebration of music, food, and beverages, on Saturday, September 27.

Four bands took the stage and got the crowd moving in their chairs, including Blonde and Grey, Vintage, Herman and Company, and Green Eyed Lady. However, the activities did not stop there. People could dig into food from food trucks, get their face painted, or treat themselves to a drink from the beer and wine tent.

Children could spend time running around in the bouncy house, or make cool set pieces at the “Selfie Lego Station.” Hartford Health Care was the title sponsor for the event. Radio station WPLR was there to support the event, as well as Cover Two Sports Cafe.
