Newtown Lions Club sponsored their third annual Model Train Show at Newtown Community Center on October 26.

The event featured several different operating model railroads encompassing over 1,700 square feet. Several vendors were selling model railroad equipment, accessories, and books on Do-it-Yourself modeling, and much more.

Scores of train enthusiasts attended to buy and sell model train equipment, attend lectures, and swap stories about their shared hobby.

Funds raised by the Lions Club will benefit childhood cancer research efforts.
