EverWonder Children’s Museum sponsored The Science of Mini Golf on November 15.

During the Saturday afternoon event, guests were treated to ten holes of mini golf that were spread throughout the museum.

There were also raffle prizes, including four tickets to see the Hartford Yard Goats and the Bridgeport Islanders, plus additional prizes. An online auction was also conducted, raising funds for the Mile Hill Road children’s museum.

There were plenty of giggles, hoorays, and boos heard during the event, which continued the museum’s tenth anniversary year.

According to EverWonder Executive Director Merredith Christos, “Every dollar raised goes directly towards enriching EverWonder’s programming and outreach, including discounted and free admission, and scholarships for Title 1 field trips.”

The event was provided by Mobile-Mini Golf with sponsorships by Linde, Leahy’s Fuel, Newtown Rotary, Aquarion, Desmin LLC, Chiropractic Center, Newtown Savings Bank, Reverie Brewing, Atherton Real Estate Advisors, and Hunt Jack Construction.

Jack McGrath, 5, and his dad, Brian McGrath, said they were having lots of fun but were very focused on scoring a hole in one at the EverWonder Children’s Museum Science of Mini Golf fundraiser on November 15.
