Panacea Twixtmas Returning To Aquila’s Nest
Twixtmas — that week between Hanukkah, Christmas, and New Year’s — will be celebrated for the second consecutive year by Panacea with a family-friendly show at Aquila’s Nest Vineyards in Sandy Hook.
Twixtmas, from Old English “betwixt,” meaning between, and “Christmas,” is already a popular holiday in England for family and friends. Panacea will be rocking the positive energy of Twixtmas, performing the best hits from the ‘60s to today, on Sunday, December 28, at 4 pm.
The performers will include two of the four original band members — siblings Leslie Ballard on flute and vocals, and Corky Ballard on bass and trombone — with Christian Martirano on keyboard, and Tony Traina on drums. The same line-up performed last year’s Twixtmas show.
The audience will be welcome to sit back and relax or get out on the dance floor.
Guests are welcome to dress at will: rock those holiday pajamas, dress-up bling for New Year’s Eve, or go comfy casual.
Panacea will provide each table with an assortment of complimentary goodies to celebrate Twixtmas and New Year’s: pompoms, noisemakers, lighted punchballs, lightsticks, and more.
Tickets are $20 adults, free for ages 18 and under (with adult), and required for all guests. Reservations are available through aquilasnestvineyards.com. Additional information can also be obtained by calling or texting 203-303-4802 or sending email to info@aquilasnestvineyards.com.
(Note: Tickets were originally $25 for this special event, but were reduced this week to the price listed above.)
A food truck will be on site that afternoon, and guests are welcome to carry in their own food and snacks.
Wine is not included in the ticket. A drink purchase of minimum $10 plus tax and gratuity per participant is required to attend and can be made at the vineyard prior to the start of the event, after staff checks IDs.
Aquila’s Nest has many non-alcoholic options as well.
Outside alcohol beverages, water bottles, and any other beverages are not allowed to be brought in.
