Hearts Of Hope Newtown Chapter Event To Benefit House Of Harrison
On Wednesday, April 15, Hearts of Hope-Newtown will host a Paint with a Purpose event.
Participants will paint inspirational ceramic hearts in a group setting, accompanied by personal messages of caring, compassion, and hope. These hearts will be gifted to House of Harrison, a boutique whose mission is to restore dignity to individuals facing homelessness or hardship by providing daily essentials that bring comfort, confidence, and hope for a fresh start.
The Newtown-Strong Therapy Dogs will be present for all to interact with.
There will also be a sock drive for House of Harrison that evening. Participants are encouraged to bring new, unopened socks of any and all sizes to be donated to those in need.
There is no cost to participate; donations are always welcome.
This event will take place from 6 to 8 pm at Newtown Community Center, 8 Simpson Street.
