Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP) is a free networking group that meets the second Tuesday of every month. The next meeting is Tuesday, August 11, 6-7:30 pm. Meetings typically feature a guest speaker whose presentations are geared toward business professionals, focusing on topics relevant to the job search and ongoing career development.

Next month’s speaker is Sean Haggerty, who will present “Employee to Entrepreneur through Franchising.” The topic of discussion will be centered around business ownership as an option to the traditional career. Haggerty’s presentation is from an educational perspective. Haggerty joined FranNet in August 2024 and is a certified franchise consultant. Haggerty is also a CPA and CGMA. Prior to FranNet, Haggerty had over ten years of experience with franchising.

The speaker presentation runs from 6-7:30 pm, and will be held via Zoom only. NFP organizers also include a “Landed Talk,” where a former NFP attendee briefly shares their job search success story and insights from their journey.
