Newtown’s State Representative Mitch Bolindsky has built a reputation in Hartford as a thoughtful, disciplined voice on budget matters. He has been a consistent defender of Connecticut’s fiscal guardrails and helped fight off tolls on our roads through two different administrations. Mitch believes strongly that the government must live within its means just as we all must do.

Mitch never votes to raise our taxes, he only supports balanced budgets that avoid tax increases, reduce unnecessary bureaucracy, and protect essential services. His approach is simple: be honest about costs, protect taxpayers, and make decisions that strengthen Connecticut’s financial future.
