Night Of Beauty To Benefit Child

Ricci’s Salon & Spa of Newtown will host a Night of Beauty to benefit three-year-old Jack Owen Demers on Monday, April 5, from 4 to 8 pm.

All proceeds will be donated to the family of Jack Owen Demers. Jack is a three-year-old Bethel child and Ricci’s client, who has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a form of childhood cancer. He was diagnosed in January and is currently undergoing presurgical chemotherapy.

All haircuts will be $25. Additional services will include chair massages for $15, makeup applications at $15, and manicures for $12.

The money donated will be used to defray the cost of medical expenses incurred by the family. Jack’s father is self-employed, and therefore his insurance does not cover a significant portion of the medical expenses. Ricci’s stylists and spa technicians will be donting their time to ensure the maximum amount is contributed to the family.
