What are your plans for next year? Asked of seniors at Newtown High School.

Dave McLaughlin: “I’m going to college to major in sports management. I don’t know which college yet, probably the University of Rhode Island.”

Liz Gugino: “I’m going to Becker College for nursing. I plan on being a registered nurse. I’m a little nervous to be in a city.”

Alex Hoolehan: “I’m going to Western Michigan to major in art and education. I’m from Michigan and I wanted to go back home to be near my sister and other family.”

Noreen Barrett: “I’m going to Towson University right outside of Baltimore for elementary education. I’m nervous but ready to go.”

Tyler Nicoll: “I’m going to the University of Delaware to study engineering. My dad is an engineer and I like math and science.”

Katie DeSimone: “I’m going to Johnson & Wales to get my associate’s in baking and pastry and a bachelor degree in business.”
