Mr and Mrs Matthew DâAmico
Marybeth Anne Garofalo, daughter of James and Kathleen Garofalo of Roxbury, and Matthew Jon DâAmico, son of Peter and Marie DâAmico were joined in marriage December 31 at St Josephâs Church in Brookfield. Rev Robert Weiss officiated.
Her father, James Garofalo, gave the bride in marriage.
Her dress was designed by Essense of Australia. The bell sleeves were made of soft organza and embellished with Swarvoski crystals. The two-tiered veil had a vermicelli edge and was embellished with flower appliqués and crystals.
The bride carried a bouquet of white and crème-colored roses, hydrangeas and raniculas, designed by Jo Hansen of Bethel. Crystals and silver beads accompanied the arrangement.
Matron of honor was Kimberly Mitchell of Danbury. Tina Garofalo, sister of the bride from Brookfield, Shelby Baumer and Yvonne Locke of New Milford, and Heather Smarz of Southbury served as bridesmaids.
The attendants were dressed in claret red ball gowns. Each dress had a square neckline adorned with crownlike patterned rhinestones. Elbow-length gloves and tiaras accessorized the dresses.
Junior bridesmaids were Gillian Dennehy of Danbury and Gianna DâAmico of Bethel. Nicole Greco of Danbury served as flower girl.
Christopher Ludgis of Monroe was the best man for Mr DâAmico.
The brothers of the groom, Peter DâAmico of Meriden, Thomas DâAmico of Ridgefield, and Christopher DâAmico of Brookfield, served as ushers, as did John Tannone of New Milford, Jamie Quinlan of Wilmington, Del., and Salvatore DâAmico of Bethel.
A reception followed the ceremony at The Waterview in Monroe.
